About the Role:
As a Cook in the accommodation and food services industry, you will play a vital role in preparing and producing high-quality meals that meet the standards and expectations of our guests. Your work will directly impact customer satisfaction by ensuring food is prepared safely, efficiently, and with attention to taste and presentation. You will collaborate closely with kitchen staff, including the Head Chef, to maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to health and safety regulations. This role requires physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform tasks such as climbing stairs and moving objects within the kitchen environment. Ultimately, your contribution will support the smooth operation of the kitchen and enhance the overall dining experience for our patrons across the United States.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment.
- Ability to read and speak English to understand recipes, safety instructions, and communicate with team members.
- Demonstrated manual dexterity and physical ability to stand for long periods and move kitchen objects safely.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working under the supervision of a Head Chef or in a similar culinary leadership environment.
- Formal culinary training or certification.
- Familiarity with a variety of cooking techniques and cuisines.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
- Additional language skills to support diverse kitchen teams and clientele.
