Catering Prep Cook & Dishwasher

Wedgewood Weddings seeks dedicated Kitchen Utility Attendants to support our culinary operations and maintain exceptional service standards. In this essential role, you'll contribute to our team's success by ensuring smooth kitchen operations and supporting the creation of memorable events.

What You’ll Do:

• Maintain cleanliness of dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment according to health standards 

• Support food preparation activities and assist with event service 

• Collaborate with culinary team on food plating and presentation 

• Perform regular kitchen maintenance and equipment upkeep 

• Execute daily cleaning protocols for all kitchen areas 

• Manage waste disposal and maintain sanitary storage conditions 

• Organize and maintain inventory storage areas, including walk-in refrigerators and freezers

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail 

• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment 

• Excellent team collaboration and communication skills 

• Professional attitude and reliable work ethic 

• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds

Availability:

• Position requires availability for various shifts, including weekdays and weekends 

• Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is essential due to event scheduling

The important extras: 

• As is typical in the hospitality industry, this position requires regular availability to work evening, weekend, and holiday shifts, as well as shifts of more than 8 hours and workweeks of more than 40 hours.
