About the Role

Description

The Hotel Front Desk Agent serves as the first point of contact for The Portlander Inn. First impressions are critical, and the Front Desk Agent is responsible for delivering a World Class Customer Experience to all guests who walk through our door. The Front Desk Agent performs a variety of customer service functions, receptionist duties, and in-house communication between housekeeping, maintenance, and other staff members.  

  • Wage: $17.75 - $18.75
  • Schedule:  Monday & Tuesday, Swing Shift 
  • Work Status: Part-time
  • Location: Portland

Requirements

  • Outstanding customer service skill and the desire to provide a high standard of service and hospitality.
  • Must be highly organized and able to pay attention to minute written and verbal details, particularly when performing multiple tasks.
  • Must be able to operate computer, calculator and telephone keyboards, for cash handling and paperwork processing.
  • Must be able to understand and follow verbal/written instructions, work on more than one task at a time, and be able to communicate both verbally and in writing.
