Description
In this role, you will:
- Develop and maintain project and manufacturing schedules across assigned scopes
- Perform schedule updates, progress tracking, and variance analysis
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, manufacturing, supply chain, and operations teams
- Monitor material availability, supplier lead times, and production constraints
- Support production planning to align capacity, inventory, and delivery requirements
- Prepare look-ahead schedules, forecasts, and milestone reporting
- Identify schedule risks and support mitigation planning
- Maintain schedule integrity, logic, and sequencing
- Support or lead schedule coordination meetings across cross-functional teams
- Analyze critical and near-critical paths and production bottlenecks
- Support change management and schedule impact analysis
- Ensure schedules align with ENTEK standards and best practices
Additional Responsibilities by Level
Level 2 (Developing Planner):
- Support detailed schedule development and reporting
- Assist with production scheduling and capacity tracking
- Work independently on assigned tasks while building expertise
Level 3 (Senior Planner):
- Lead integrated project and manufacturing schedules
- Manage baselines, recovery planning, and execution alignment
- Mentor junior planners and support cross-functional planning efforts
- Drive coordination between production, materials, and project milestones
Level 4 (Lead / Strategic Planner):
- Define and enforce planning standards and governance
- Lead enterprise-level scheduling and capacity planning
- Integrate project, manufacturing, and supply chain execution into a unified model
- Support executive decision-making and strategic planning
- Lead and develop planning teams across multiple levels
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications (Level 2 Entry Point)
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of experience in scheduling, planning, or operations
- Working knowledge of scheduling tools (Microsoft Project, ERP/MRP systems, or equivalent)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Advanced Qualifications (Level 3–4)
- 5–10+ years of experience in project scheduling, manufacturing planning, or production operations
- Advanced proficiency in scheduling systems (Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, ERP/MRP systems)
- Strong understanding of manufacturing workflows, capacity planning, and material coordination
- Experience leading cross-functional planning efforts and schedule coordination
- Experience mentoring or supervising planners (Level 3–4)
- Experience supporting enterprise-level planning, forecasting, and decision-making (Level 4)
Your Work Schedule
This is a full-time, exempt position working Monday through Friday. Some flexibility may be required based on operational needs.
