About the Role

Description

 Loch Harbour Group is seeking an experienced Equipment Specialist to support inventory operations and field activities within a U.S. Navy environment. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, deploying, and supporting inventory-related equipment including barcode scanners, label printers, and associated inventory devices used in warehouse and property accountability operations.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical troubleshooting abilities, hands-on operational experience, and a customer-service mindset to support end users and field inventory teams across multiple locations.


 Key Responsibilities

  • Experience maintaining label printers, barcode scanners, and inventory devices
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve device issues impacting inventories
  • Basic Navy ERP familiarity to support how devices are used in inventory processes
  • Hands-on, customer-service orientation with end users
  • Ability to train others on use of scanners/devices
  • Experience deploying/scaling scanning solutions across mixed environment\
  • Supports field teams; goes out on site to keep equipment operational during inventories


Requirements

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Advanced Degree in a business or technical field


Minimum Qualifications

Minimum of 7 years of experience in:

  • Engineering/science management
  • Operations research analysis
  • Financial/cost analysis
  • Significant experience supporting U.S. Navy programs or operations

Required Qualifications

  • Active Secret Security Clearance (required at time of hire)
  • Ability to work onsite in San Diego, CA
