Description
Loch Harbour Group is seeking an experienced Equipment Specialist to support inventory operations and field activities within a U.S. Navy environment. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, deploying, and supporting inventory-related equipment including barcode scanners, label printers, and associated inventory devices used in warehouse and property accountability operations.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical troubleshooting abilities, hands-on operational experience, and a customer-service mindset to support end users and field inventory teams across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Experience maintaining label printers, barcode scanners, and inventory devices
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve device issues impacting inventories
- Basic Navy ERP familiarity to support how devices are used in inventory processes
- Hands-on, customer-service orientation with end users
- Ability to train others on use of scanners/devices
- Experience deploying/scaling scanning solutions across mixed environment\
- Supports field teams; goes out on site to keep equipment operational during inventories
Requirements
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Advanced Degree in a business or technical field
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of 7 years of experience in:
- Engineering/science management
- Operations research analysis
- Financial/cost analysis
- Significant experience supporting U.S. Navy programs or operations
Required Qualifications
- Active Secret Security Clearance (required at time of hire)
- Ability to work onsite in San Diego, CA
