JOB TITLE: Locksmith (Must be 21 years of age or older)
DEPARTMENT: Security
REPORTS TO: Security Manager
SALARY: Grade 10
Range Starts: $23.03/hourly
Range Ends: $34.55/hourly
CLASSIFICATION: Non-exempt
SUPERVISES: None
JOB SUMMARY: This team member is responsible for installing and maintaining all lock systems throughout the Resort & Casino, including repairs and removals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential duties and responsibilities outlined here are representative of those that must be met by the team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this position, however, are not all inclusive:
- Installs, re-keys, and repairs new chip boxes and sleeves on gaming tables.
- Installs and maintains locks throughout the Resort & Casino.
- Installs and maintains door closers on all doorways.
- Installs and maintains locks on desks and file cabinets, and installs desk-drawer guides on all cabinets and desks.
- Installs and maintains batteries and programming on all electronic locks throughout the Resort & Casino.
- Installs and maintains electric strikes on all doors throughout the Resort & Casino.
- Installs and maintains locks on all slot machines, and maintains and installs all locks on cashboxes
- Responsible for creating all access cards with correct access level groups.
- Insure all hotel fobs are correctly assigned and issued.
- Maintains and services equipment in the Resort & Casino lock shop.
- Maintains and services equipment used for duplicating keys, and duplicates any new keys that may be needed.
- Maintains keying system of the Resort & Casino.
- Maintains and services all change personnel carts.
- Responsible for adding daily tasks into the daily log.
- Maintains card cancelation machine.
- Insures all key box key tags are working properly and all team members are added into the right group and time zone for key check out.
- Maintains and installs all locks on ATM machines.
- Operates a variety of hand and power tools and equipment necessary in the performance of assigned duties, including boring jigs, templates, electric drills, wood chisels, screwdrivers, pliers, hammers, lock picks, etc.
- Programs DCD and STC boards, installs power supplies, pulls wire, and installs battery backups.
- Assists RREDCO with making keys.
- Performs all duties in a manner that adheres to the guest service standards established by Win-River Resort & Casino’s guest service program.
- Performs all duties in a manner that continually supports the vision, mission, values, and principles of the Resort & Casino.
- Other duties as assigned by Security Manager.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

- A High School diploma, or the equivalent thereof, is preferred
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
The experience and knowledge requirements outlined here are representative of the minimum that must be met by the team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this position, however, higher levels of experience and knowledge than required may be reflected during the recruitment process:
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Experience with locking mechanisms, including maintenance and replacement, is required
- A strong combination of written and verbal communication skills is required
- A working knowledge of divisional policies and procedures and security protocol is required
- Experience with online safety and security systems is preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

- Frequently sits, stands, and walks
- Occasionally bends/stoops, climbs, reaches above/below shoulder level, kneels, squats, and crawls
- Frequently lifts/carries up to ten (10) pounds is required
- Occasionally lifts/carries up to fifty (50) pounds is required
- Occasionally pushes/pulls up to fifty (50) pounds is required
