Accounts Payable Manager – Commercial HVAC Logan, UT | $70,000–$90,000 DOE | Weekly Pay | 100% Paid Medical | Long-Term Stability
ColdTech Refrigeration is growing and hiring an Accounts Payable Manager for our Logan office.

In this role, you will oversee the full accounts payable function, manage day-to-day AP operations, lead process improvements, and help ensure financial accuracy across multiple business units.

What You’ll Do
Accounts Payable
· Review invoices for accuracy, approvals, and supporting documentation
· Manage documentation (ie. Certificate of Insurances) to ensure subcontractor compliance.
· Code invoices to the correct GL accounts and enter into QuickBooks, Service Titan, NetSuite
· Process weekly check runs and electronic vendor payments
· Prioritize invoices based on due dates, terms, and discount opportunities
· Reconcile vendor statements and resolve billing discrepancies
· Audit and process company credit card statements
· Maintain accurate AP files and payment records
· Enter inventory/job cost information into ERP system
· Assist with billing coordination and internal accounting support
Accounts Payable Leadership
· Manage the daily operations of the Accounts Payable department
· Supervise AP staff, assign workloads, and provide training/support
· Ensure invoices are processed accurately and paid on time
· Oversee weekly check runs, ACH payments, and vendor disbursements
· Monitor payment schedules, cash flow timing, and discount opportunities
· Review invoice coding, approvals, and supporting documentation
· Establish and enforce internal controls and approval procedures
Vendor & Reconciliation Management
· Build strong vendor relationships and resolve escalated billing issues
· Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly
· Maintain accurate AP aging and payment records
· Manage W-9 collection and assist with annual 1099 preparation
Accounting & Process Improvement
· Partner with leadership on month-end close related to AP accruals and reporting
· Reconcile AP subledger to the general ledger
· Identify opportunities to improve workflows, automation, and efficiency
· Maintain organized digital records and documentation compliance
· Assist with ERP system enhancements and AP best practices
Teamwork & Communication
· Collaborate with project managers, operations leaders, and accounting staff
· Communicate professionally with vendors, internal teams, and leadership
· Foster a positive, accountable, solutions-focused environment
What We’re Looking For
Required
· High school diploma or GED (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred)
· 5+ years of Accounts Payable experience
· 2+ years of AP lead, supervisor, or management experience
· Strong understanding of AP controls, reconciliations, and payment cycles
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
· Strong Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency
· Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
· Professional communication and leadership skills
· Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
Preferred
· Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP/accounting software
· Experience in construction, HVAC, mechanical contracting, or service industries
· Multi-entity or multi-location AP experience
· General accounting or month-end close experience
· Bilingual in Spanish
