Overview

The Sr. Director Sales – Foodservice, Away from Home (AFH) & Military Sales is a senior commercial leader responsible for developing and executing the strategic sales vision across the foodservice, away-from-home, and military/commissary channels. This executive will manage key national account relationships, and drive revenue growth by expanding distribution, deepening customer partnerships, and identifying new market opportunities. The ideal candidate brings a proven track record in foodservice sales leadership, a deep understanding of the military/commissary channel, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Principal Accountabilities:

Profitable Sales Delivery, Planning, Forecasting & Execution:


• Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies for the foodservice, away-from-home, and military/commissary channels aligned with overall company growth objectives.

• Own the annual operating plan for the AFH and military channels including volume, revenue, and trade spend targets.

• Identify, assess, and capitalize on emerging trends, white space opportunities, and competitive dynamics within each channel.

• Work collaboratively with demand planning to provide annual and ongoing customer forecast for day to day, item-level turns, new item projections, and annual brand plans.

• Analyze and communicate the future and emerging needs for assigned segment so that Red’s All Natural is in a position to compete and lead change accordingly.


Championing Retailer, Distributor & 3rd Party Partnerships:


• Lead and manage relationships with key national and regional foodservice distributors, operators, and group purchasing organizations (GPOs).

• Drive military/commissary channel business through DECA, military exchanges, & other commissary systems, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and contracting requirements.

• Develop and present compelling selling stories, business reviews, and joint business plans with top-tier customers.

• Negotiate and execute contracts, pricing agreements, and promotional programs that deliver mutual value for customers and the company.


Financial Accountability:


• Own and manage the channel P&L including trade investment, broker fees, and selling expenses.

• Deliver against quarterly and annual revenue, gross profit, and market share objectives.

• Provide accurate, data-driven sales forecasting and reporting to senior leadership.

• Monitor competitive pricing and recommend pricing strategy adjustments as needed.

Cross Functional Collaboration:

• Fostering a power of one spirit with cross functional partners (supply, logistics, marketing, finance, etc) being an active and high contributor of a highly performing team.

• Consistently demonstrating ability to share knowledge & information at all levels of the org.

• Working well with other cross functional partners, a strong sense of ownership, accountability and ambition in every initiative.

• Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop channel-relevant programs, promotional materials, and go-to-market strategies.

• Partner with Supply Chain and Operations to ensure service levels, fill rates, and delivery performance meet customer requirements.

• Work closely with Finance on trade management, deduction resolution, and profitability analysis.

• Act as voice of the customer internally, influencing product development and innovation priorities.

Key Functional skills Knowledge:


• Excellent communication skills – oral, written and listening

• Proven record of delivering consistent revenue growth while managing complex relationships

• Strong knowledge of foodservice distribution networks and selling environments

• Customer focus & responsiveness

• Ability to work independently and contribute within a team environment

• Influence cross functionally, especially where direct reporting relationship do not exist

• Ability to build trusting relationships and partnerships internally & externally

• High capacity to learn and adapt


Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field

· 10+ years of progressive sales experience in the food & beverage industry, with at least 5 years in foodservice/away-from-home channel leadership

· Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities

Travel:

· Critical expectation of the role (up to 50% or as needed) to drive sales plans with key Partners
