Your tasks

Being a Guest Relation Manager at Habitat Algarve Retreat makes you part of our young and international team. You serve as the main point of contact for both guests and the on-site team, ensuring smooth operations and an unforgettable experience for every visitor. 

• Act as the main point of contact for guests and team members on-site.
• Lead, motivate and support the team to ensure a seamless guest journey.
• Oversee and coordinate all retreat operations.
• Ensure that guests’ needs and expectations are met throughout their stay.
• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness standards in all public retreat areas.
• Manage check-ins and check-outs, providing a warm welcome and a heartfelt farewell.
• Communicate with surf and yoga coaches to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Address guest concerns or special requests, coordinating with relevant team members.
• Uphold Surf Spirit’s values by creating a welcoming and memorable atmosphere.
• Handle recruitment, scheduling, and administrative tasks.

• are fluent in English
• bring leadership experience, team spirit and passion for hospitality
• have organisational skills and stress resilience
• have xperience in gastronomy, yoga/surfing and sustainable living (is a big plus!)
• set a good example and be a real team player
• can handle criticism and suggestions for improvement well
• have a positive and open appearance
• like to live and work in nature
• have a class B driving license

We are Dana & Nils from Germany. With our close friends, we spent a lot of time on the coasts of Europe. Our circle of friends is characterised by a passion for surfing, yoga, music and community. During our travels, we have always experienced incredible freedom. We offer weekly retreat packages, with all guests arriving on the same day. This rhythm creates a shared journey — allowing the group to grow together, deepen their surf and yoga practice day by day and truly connect.

What we offer goes far beyond an accommodation. It’s a curated experience designed to nourish body, mind and soul.
