About the Role

Description

Hawley Troxell has an open position for a Cash Applications Specialist. This is a full-time position in our Boise office. This position is primarily responsible for receiving and recording all incoming cash payments, verifying their accuracy, posting them to the appropriate accounts, reconciling cash totals, preparing bank deposits, and maintaining detailed records of all transactions, essentially ensuring the proper handling and tracking of a company's cash receipts.

Requirements

· A good understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.

· Strong analytical skills.

· Strong data entry skills.

· Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and written.

· Must be organized, detail oriented with ability to multi-task.

· Ability to work with time sensitive projects.

-Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically excel, or similar software.

- Ability to interact professionally with internal and external customers/clients.


Education and Experience:

- Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting preferred.

- A minimum of two years of related experience required.
