Shift Leaders are responsible for overseeing their shifts all other aspects of the restaurant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a team of employees.
- Ensure excellent guest service and satisfaction.
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Maintain Bojangles' quality and safety standards, including food safety and sanitation.
- Manage inventory, track waste, and reconcile sales and cash.
- Train new team members and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
- Address escalated guest concerns and resolve issues promptly.
- Understand and uphold company policies and procedures.
- Some roles may require the successful completion of Bojangles University (BO University) training to support skill development and operational standards.
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service or hospitality preferred.
- Leadership qualities, even without formal management experience.
- Must be at least 18 years of age (some positions specify 16 years old).
- Dependable and reliable, able to work with a sense of urgency.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Cheerful, positive attitude, and a passion for serving others.
- Ability to manage a team effectively.
- Some positions require experience with restaurant management in the QSR industry, including P&L, food cost, and labor management.
