Description
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Folding Carton Packer / Bindery Associate to join our production team in a fast-paced commercial print and packaging environment. This position will primarily work on an SBL folder/gluer line packing finished folding cartons while ensuring all products meet quality standards before shipment.
When folding carton production slows, this employee will assist in the bindery department with handwork, shrink wrapping, kitting, and other finishing operations as needed.

Primary Responsibilities
- Pack folding cartons coming off an SBL folder/gluer line
- Inspect cartons for quality, consistency, and accuracy throughout production runs
- Monitor for defects such as glue issues, cracking, scuffing, misalignment, color variation, or damaged cartons
- Maintain packing counts and follow job specifications accurately
- Keep work area clean, organized, and production-ready
- Assist machine operators as needed during production runs
- Help in bindery with:
- Hand assembly work
- Shrink wrapping
- Kitting and packaging
- General finishing support
- Follow all company safety and production procedures
Requirements
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years experience in folding carton packaging, commercial print, bindery, or manufacturing preferred
- Experience working around folder/gluers or packaging equipment is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Able to lift 40 lbs.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as needed
- Team-oriented attitude with willingness to assist where needed
