About the Role

About the Role:

Cashiers and Arcade Attendants play a vital role in ensuring a smooth, efficient, and enjoyable experience for customers. This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, accurately processing transactions to include various payment forms, and to foster a positive team-oriented environment. Cashiers and Arcade Attendants support amusement operations by maintaining cleanliness and organization in the arcade and purchasing areas as well as assisting with inventory management when needed. Ultimately, Cashiers and Arcade Attendants play a key role in providing guests with an exceptional, family-friendly experience. 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in cashiering or retail customer service preferred but not required.
  • Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions and stand for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds safely.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using point-of-sale (POS) systems in a retail environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate cash register, arcade redemption, and point-of-sale (POS) systems to process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments while ensuring proper cash drawer management and balancing at the end of shifts.
  • Provide friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable customer service, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Perform janitorial duties such as cleaning the checkout area and maintaining an organized workspace to ensure a welcoming environment.
  • Assist with lifting and carrying heavy items as needed to support stock replenishment and arcade organization.
