The marketing team works as an internal agency and this role will support multiple retail and ecommerce brands, including America’s Floor Source. 

Position Summary
AFS Group is seeking a Marketing Manager to serve as a central coordinator across departments, brands, and external partners, ensuring seamless communication and execution of marketing initiatives. This role will manage project requests across divisions, develop clear timelines and deliverables, and align resources to meet deadlines and budget expectations. The Marketing Manager will collaborate with team leads and acquired locations to support integration efforts and ensure teams have the tools and materials needed for success. Additionally, the role will oversee event planning and execution, vendor and partner coordination, spend allocation, and brand reputation management to drive engagement both internally and with customers. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential to successfully bring projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison between different departments, AFS Group companies, and vendors to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.


  • Manage all project requests across different divisions and company brands.


  • Develop and outline project timelines, deliverables, and resource requirements; ensuring that tasks are assigned, deadlines are met, and project milestones are achieved.


  • Work with team leads to allocate resources appropriately and ensure that team members have the necessary materials and information (including but not limited to promotional digital and traditional signage, tags, brochures, swag, etc.).


  • Collaborate with all acquired locations and assist in transitioning them into an AFS Group Company.


  • Assist with the planning, execution, and follow up for company events (including but not limited to larger leadership summit, manufacturer events, roadshows, tradeshows, home shows, sponsor events, etc.).


  • Coordinate with external manufacturers, agencies, vendors, and partners for campaign execution when needed.


  • Manage reputation.com and respond promptly to reviews fostering meaningful interactions with our audience.


  • Manage company swag store and swag orders/materials.


  • Manage allocations for all monthly marketing, spend in collaboration with accounting and ensuring budget alignment


  • Collaborate with sponsorship partners to ensure events and activities are executed to build engagement internally and across our customer base


Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.

- Proven experience as a Project Coordinator or in a similar role within a marketing environment.

- Showcase versatile skill set in helping bring projects to the finish line.

- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality results on time.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
