What You’ll Do

As a Network Engineer, you’ll support the design, implementation, and maintenance of ENTEK’s network infrastructure. Working alongside senior engineers and cross-functional IT teams, you’ll help ensure reliable connectivity, strong system performance, and secure network operations across the organization.

In this role, you will:

Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining LAN, WAN, VPN, and VOIP environments
Troubleshoot network issues and support resolution of connectivity and performance problems
Configure and install routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and related network devices
Collaborate with senior engineers on infrastructure projects, upgrades, and technology rollouts
Monitor network performance and support proactive maintenance activities
Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations and inventory records
Provide technical support to users on network-related technologies and issues
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to network reliability and performance
Help ensure network systems align with security and operational standards
Work collaboratively with infrastructure and IT support teams to maintain stable operations

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a motivated IT professional with strong technical curiosity, troubleshooting skills, and a desire to grow within network engineering and infrastructure operations.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
Hands-on experience with network equipment including routers and switches
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate technical information clearly and effectively
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

CCNA certification or equivalent
Experience with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds or Nagios
Basic understanding of network security principles and practices
Familiarity with cloud networking platforms such as AWS or Azure

Your Work Schedule

This is a full-time, exempt position working Monday through Friday, day shift. Additional hours and occasional travel may be required to support operational and project needs.
