The Quality Manager is responsible for overseeing product quality across manufacturing and field operations. This role monitors in-process and pre-shipment quality, manages field-reported concerns, and drives root cause analysis and corrective actions related to product and service issues. The Quality Manager serves as a key point of coordination for quality communication, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Manufacturing Quality Oversight
- Monitor and evaluate product quality throughout manufacturing and prior to shipment
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards and specifications
- Partner with production teams to identify defects and implement corrective actions
Field Quality Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for field-reported quality concerns
- Investigate issues, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate resolutions
- Communicate corrective actions and timelines to internal stakeholders
Shipping & Service Issue Resolution
- Monitor service-related issues including short shipments, mis-shipments, and damaged goods
- Conduct root cause analysis related to picking, packing, labeling, and loading processes
- Partner with warehouse and logistics teams to implement corrective and preventive actions
- Track trends and support efforts to reduce recurring issues
Reporting & Data Analysis
- Collect, analyze, and interpret quality and shipping data
- Maintain reporting dashboards and performance summaries
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to leadership
Continuous Improvement
- Lead corrective and preventive action (CAPA) initiatives
- Identify trends and implement process improvements
- Support the development and maintenance of quality standards and procedures

Requirements
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience in a quality, manufacturing, or operations-related role preferred
- Manufacturing experience preferred but not required
- Strong experience with root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies
- Familiarity with shipping and logistics processes preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems
- Continuous improvement experience preferred
