Description
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Parts Warehouse Employee to join our automotive dealership team. This position is responsible for receiving, organizing, stocking, and distributing automotive parts while maintaining accurate inventory and supporting efficient operations between the parts and service departments. The ideal candidate is organized, safety-conscious, and able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment while delivering excellent customer service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, verify, and stock incoming automotive parts shipments accurately
- Maintain organized warehouse stock locations and accurate inventory counts
- Pull, stage, and distribute parts for service technicians and retail/wholesale customers
- Process returns, core returns, and warranty parts according to manufacturer and dealership guidelines
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
- Keep warehouse areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
- Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory audits
- Label, bin, and track parts using dealership inventory management systems
- Coordinate with parts and service departments to ensure timely parts availability
- Package and prepare parts orders for shipping or delivery
- Monitor damaged, obsolete, or low-stock inventory and report shortages or discrepancies
- Follow dealership and manufacturer procedures for handling hazardous materials and batteries
- Occasionally deliver parts using a company or customer vehicle as needed
- Support overall warehouse efficiency through accurate receiving, stocking, and order fulfillment
- Provide excellent internal and external customer service with professionalism and urgency

Schedule
Full-time position with availability to work weekdays and occasional Saturdays as needed.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, automotive parts, or dealership experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Basic computer and inventory system knowledge preferred
- Forklift experience or certification preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and time-management skills
