We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our growing team in Baytown, Texas.
The Speech-Language Pathologist will evaluate, diagnose, and treat individuals with speech, language, communication, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders (dysphagia). This role also includes supervision of a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs
- Provide direct therapy services using evidence-based, patient-centered practices
- Treat speech, language, voice, fluency, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Collaborate with occupational therapists, physical therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members to support comprehensive care
- Educate and support families with strategies to encourage progress outside of therapy sessions
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, and patient progress
- Supervise and mentor an SLPA in accordance with state and professional guidelines
Requirements
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Texas licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- CCC-SLP credential and qualifications required to supervise an SLPA
- Experience evaluating and treating communication and swallowing disorders
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Knowledge of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and assistive communication technology is a plus
- Previous experience in a rehabilitation or healthcare setting preferred
