Description

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Assistant to support the daily operations of the Human Resources department. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to gain hands-on experience in recruitment, employee administration, and HR operations. The HR Assistant will provide administrative support while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.


Key Responsibilities

  • Recruitment Support
  • Post job openings on job boards and company platforms
  • Screen resumes and shortlist candidates
  • Schedule interviews and coordinate with hiring managers
  • Assist with interview documentation and candidate communication
  • Onboarding & Employee Administration
  • Prepare offer letters and employment contracts
  • Collect and organize new hire documentation
  • Maintain employee personnel files (physical and digital)
  • Assist with onboarding sessions and orientation coordination


HR Operations Support

  • Update and maintain HR databases and records
  • Track employee attendance and leave requests
  • Support payroll preparation by compiling timesheets and required data
  • Respond to basic employee inquiries regarding HR policies


Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure proper filing of confidential employee records
  • Assist in maintaining compliance with company policies and labor regulations
  • Support HR audits and documentation reviews



Requirements

Qualifications


Strong organizational and time-management skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Familiarity with HR software or applicant tracking systems is a plus
