What You’ll Do
- Process accurate semi-monthly payroll for approximately 700 employees across multiple states (WA, ID, CA, and OR) and legal entities.
- Audit payroll data including hours worked, commissions, bonuses, deductions, taxes, garnishments, PTO balances, and benefit deductions.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
- Partner with HR, Benefits, Finance, and Operations to support payroll accuracy and compliance.
- Identify opportunities to improve payroll workflows, reporting, automation, and operational efficiencies.
- Draft, distribute, and maintain clear, professional, and timely written communications to team members and leaders across multiple locations.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience.
- Experience processing payroll for 500+ employees.
- Experience processing multi-state payroll.
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and local wage and hour laws, payroll tax regulations, garnishments, and deductions.
- Experience with HRIS/payroll systems such as Paylocity, ADP, UKG, Workday, or similar platforms.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with demonstrated experience using Excel for formulas, data analysis, auditing, and reporting.
- A mature team player that thrives in a collaborative and supportive environment.
- Approach any challenge with a can-do attitude and take a creative approach to accomplishing tasks.
Bonus Points
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification is a plus.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

- Pay: Salary of $50,000 - $60,000/year, paid semi-monthly (twice a month).
