Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented General Maintenance & Floorwork Specialist to support the daily upkeep of our showroom and warehouse facilities. This role is essential to maintaining a clean, organized, and visually appealing environment, as well as assisting with weekly corporate photoshoots.
Schedule: Monday, Thursday, and Friday 24hrs/week.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties throughout the showroom, warehouse, and restrooms, including trash removal and mopping all tile floors
- Load and unload transfer trucks and assist with customer pickups
- Assemble furniture and properly place merchandise on the showroom floor
- Assist with inventory control, including monthly showroom and warehouse inventory cycling
- Prepare photoshoot stages for weekly photoshoots, including painting, cleaning, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
- Assist photographers and creative teams by moving furniture and staging products for photoshoots
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow company documentation and procedures
- Ability to build positive working relationships with coworkers, management, and cross-functional teams
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of equipment and materials
Physical & Work Requirements
- Ability to stand and work on your feet for 8+ hours per day
- Ability to lift and handle products weighing up to 150 lbs with the assistance of company-issued equipment
- Ability to follow daily task assignments and adapt to changing priorities
